Members will be aware of the sudden death of Stanley Taylor, a highly respected and long standing member of our Society. Stanley joined the Society in the early 1960s and became a member of the Committee in 1965. In 1972 he took over the Chairmanship, a position which he held until 1975, subsequently becoming a Vice-President. In the following years Stanley was a strong supporter of the Society attending our Speaker meetings until his death in September 2013. His presence at those meetings will be missed.
